I bet I'da scored higher if I had more gun-fu, but living in Euro-land, I suppose your options are limited. ;-( Our government doesn't care if we're helpless, stand defenseless against the braindead hordes! I'm a survivor! I try to be! I alienate regale my peers by staring outside and then informing them on how exactly my neighbours' house isn't zombie-proof (street goes uphill, flat roof of garage interfaces with 1st floor on one side and street level on the other, et voilà). I try to work out whether the cables going from one building to another could be used for bartering. You know, send little baskets to and fro, or something. Enquiring minds want to know!

So, I've done all I can with what I've been given, I'm ready for the next stage. Give us guns already — or we'll migrate to Switzerland!

That's worse than you, but at least we survived and can make sure to get better next time. Probably I should have helped others as well, but I'm an arrogant bastard after all.

And concerning the book, it's quite cute but gets repetetive after a while. And it's written far too sober. If you don't remind yourself it's fake you'll believe anything in there. Be prepared and don't trust the officials!

Dubious re the book now, if they carry the joke too far, that may just about wrap it up for me, I'm just not Ms Reading Discipline, I'm afraid. : (
(On the other hand, can reading a couple of not-so-hot chapters really be worse than being eaten alive by rotting shamblers?)

Komisches Spiel. Jede Aktion kostet einen Punkt.
Etwas zu sagen ist eine Aktion.
Gut, also kein Charakterspiel. Nun ja.
Aber es gibt alle halbe Stunde einen Punkt zur�ck.
Das sind nun nicht gerade die Punktsummen pro Tag, aus denen die grossen strategischen Absprachen sind.
Also l�uft man da so rum. Viele Geb�ude sind fortified. Selber verrammeln kann ich aber z.B. nicht, dazu w�re ein skill n�tig.
Ich kann auch nicht sinnvoll zombies bek�mpfen, nicht bei 50HP/zombie und Waffen wie 1Dmg/10% oder 2Dmg/5%.
Ich kann auch nicht ohne weiteres eine Gruppe suchen, der ich mich anschliessen kann (mal ganz abgesehen, da� die dann doch eh nie zeitlich online ist oder Punkte hat, oder? Und wie soll ich das �berhaupt koordinieren, bei 1 Pt / Satz?). Ich komme ja nicht weit mit den paar Punkten, und brauche immer massig Reserve, damit ich noch Punkte habe, und einen halbwegs sicheren und zombiefreien Unterschlupf zu finden, bevor mir die Punkte ausgehen.
Und an Leuten steht so Info dran wie "dabei seit", statt "letzter Zug um."
Soll ich da nun stehenbleiben und die ansprechen? Vielleicht �bernachten die da ja. Und dann?
Soll ich so lange warten, bis sie antworten (oder vielleicht einfach weitergehen, um den Punkt zu sparen)?
Ich kann mich ja nicht mal einschleimen, indem ich einem Schl�fer die Zombies weghaue, die sich an ihn anschleichen. Nicht bei der Trefferchance, Damage, Hitpoints-Kombination.

*These: Da viele eigentlich sinnvolle Dinge nicht gehen und Charakterspiel ohnehin kaum m�glich ist, ist nur noch gamistisches Spiel m�glich.

Versuch: Heilen gibt experience points. Egal, wen man heilt. Auch wenn es Zombies sind. Ein guter Weg zu leveln ist es also, Zombies zu finden, die zu heilen, und sich dabei nicht von regul�ren �berlebenden erwischen zu lassen.

Satz: Gamistisches Spiel ist furchtbar albern.
